Excel Basics Exercise 5 Payroll
  1. Open the workbook called
  2. Use the Save As command to save the workbook as Payroll2.xls
  3. Complete the workbook by performing these tasks
Enter the following data
  • Employee Bramble - worked 18 hours @ $23 per hour
  • Employee Juarez - worked 22 hours @ $17.50 per hour
  • Employee Smith - worked 35 hours @ $27.95 per hour
  • Employee DiOrio - worked 29 hours @ $19.50 per hour

  1. Enter a formula in Column B to calculate gross pay for each employee
  2. In cell D9 enter the SUM function to calculate Total Gross Pay
  3. Save and print the worksheet
  4. Remove the hours for the four employees
  5. Enter the following hours 18 for Bramble, 25 for Juarez, 35 for Smith and 20 for DiOrio
  6. Print the new worksheet
